All electrical workers must hold a practicing license in order to carry out prescribed electrical work as stated in Section 95 of the 1992 Electricity Act . This licence must be renewed every two years (dependent on class), and involves passing an EWRB approved Electrical Safety Competency Programme.
MITA Consulting offers a 4 hour competency programme, that covers both theoretical and practical assessments for Line Mechanics, Cable Jointers, Electricians, and Inspectors. This includes Electrical safety, testing to ensure safety and electron briefings.
You must show proof of your current First Aid Certificate that was achieved no more than 6 months prior to date of training.
You must wear full PPE and bring the Electricity Regs and SMEI’s with you on course.
