It’s business as usual at MITA Consulting

Despite recent updates about changes to Vocational Education and Training (VET) and the introduction of new Industry Skills Boards, we want to reassure you that these changes will not affect your training with MITA Consulting.

There is no change to how we operate now, and no change to how we will deliver training in the future.
MITA Consulting remains the leading provider of training and safety within the Electricity Supply Industry, continuing to uphold the highest standards of quality and industry relevance.

As part of the Government’s wider reform of the vocational education and training sector, the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (NZIST), previously known as Te Pūkenga, will be officially disestablished on 31 December 2025 and a transition to the Industry Skills Board will take place on the 1st January 2026.

MITA Consulting will continue to operate as a private training establishment (PTE) and our customer’s have the ability to organise directly through MITA Consulting for any current and future training needs.

Our customers and learners are central to MITA Consulting’s success, and we remain committed to supporting industry needs throughout this transition. If you have any concerns or require further information, please contact one of our Leadership team.
